EVA hot melts
Many hot melts from the first hour are based on EVA polymers. These can quickly age and burn, leading to clogged adhesive systems. Intercol has various EVA hot melts that are odorless and thermostable, the new generation of hot melt adhesives that was introduced in 1998.
Polyolefin hot melts
Polyolefin hot melt adhesives have wider bonding ranges and are usually more resistant to low freezing as well as high temperatures. Polyolefin hot melt adhesives are used for coated and plastic materials and wood joints where, for example, the heat on a worktop is an important factor (Edgebanding)
